1. The Haunted Key Deluxe
The Haunted Key is a classic of magic.. and for good reason, It looks like REAL Magic!
Imagine placing an old Key on the palm of your hand and without any strings, wires, magnets, electronics, etc. the key starts to move on its own!!! Turning 180 degrees right in the palm of your hand!! A seriously spooky and mystifying effect that can be handed out at any time for complete inspection!
2. Houdini's Last Trick
From your wallet you remove a picture of the Great "Houdini" - everyone is familiar with the fact that Harry Houdini was the world's greatest escapologist and still is a huge inspiration to every magician in the world.
You are introducing your spectator to "Houdini's famous card trick": You explain that Houdini would have a spectator think of any card and then magically revealed the chosen card in his breast pocket of his jacket.
Next, ask your spectator to think of any card from the deck.
As if Houdini's spirit actually came through, your spectator feels a strange sensation...when you ask your spectator to open her hands and take a close look at the picture again, eerily and magically their chosen card has now appeared and is revealed inside Houdini's breast pocket in the photograph!
Houdini's Last Trick comes complete with the ready to go gimmick, photograph and online instructions.
3. Haunted 2.0 (Haunted Deck)
You place the spectator's signed card squarely into the deck, which is set on the table. You can WALK AWAY from the deck and even cover the deck with a clear bowl (Just like in Peter's original Haunted..there's nothing connecting you to the deck).
After a few moments of silence... the upper half of the deck eerily starts to MOVE... then slowly SLIDES away from the lower half! After the top half of the deck stops moving, there's a pause... then the CARD UNDER IT STARTS TO MOVE! This single haunted card slowly slithers and CREEPS away from the rest of the deck... then finally stops. Your spectator takes the card... it's the one she signed.
4. Haunted Box (Deluxe)
Do you believe in ghosts? You will after witnessing this...
The magician displays a simple wooden box, purchased several years ago from an antique shop. The magician explains that when he arrived home and opened the box, he noticed a faded picture of Harry Houdini, "The King of Cards." This picture wasn't in the box when he first purchased it. From time to time, the magician noticed the box would produce strange noises at night, a "slamming" sound, as if the spirit of Harry Houdini haunted it.
He opens the lid and removes a deck of cards and the spectator is invited to select ANY card from the deck and sign its face. The card is then placed ANYWHERE in the deck by the spectator. This is a 100% FREE choice.
The spectator then mixes the cards and is asked to deal them, one by one, into the box. SUDDENLY the lid of the box SLAMS SHUT, as if telling the spectator to stop dealing. The magician asks the spectator to turn over the card they are holding in their hand... it is the signed card!
5. My Pet Boris The Spider
I present this as a cool new smart phone app (app sold separately) that merges the spectators own body with computer generated images to create a form of augmented reality that is incredibly realistic.
I ask the spectator to hold out their hand so I can take a picture of their palm, secretly loading a plastic spider on the back of their hand, then place the phone on their palm and introduce Boris. The animation and shadowing make it look like the spider is actually crawling across their hand. They can even feel him move because of the phone's vibrator. He stops a few times on his way across the hand and the magician pokes him to encourage him to continue.
I show how you can interact with Boris by sliding my finger under the phone to rub the spider's back. Boris really seems to be between the phone and their hand. You could never do this in real life. Too dangerous with a poisonous spider.
Then I show how waving my hand over the proximity sensors on the phone make him come back. He runs back across the screen.
I take the phone back and ask them to try. When they wave their hand over the screen, they notice out of the corner of their eye, a realistic spider clinging to the back of their hand and they FREAK OUT!
